April has been designated as
Distracted Driving Awareness Month, “U DRIVE- U TEXT- U PAY” The National Safety Council estimates 26 percent of all vehicle crashes involve cell phone use. That’s why it is so critical for all drivers to understand the risks we are taking when on a cell phone or texting.
More than 30 studies have shown hands-free doesn't make drivers safer because the brain remains distracted and the drivers attention is not on safe driving. If all drivers would make a concerted effort to stop distracted driving in April 2015, everyone, including you, will benefit.
So join in, no texting, no cell phone use, no eating, no reading , no dozing, no daydreaming, and no attention divided conversations with others while driving! REMEMBER ONE TEXT OR CALL COULD WRECK IT ALL!
